Chiara Lorenzetto
Founded Niu Consulting in 2018, after fifteen years of activity in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological field at several Italian companies and a Swiss multinational. Today Chiara combines a solid background in biology with in-depth expertise in the field of medical devices: from complex multi-component devices for permanent implantation in direct contact with blood/patient’s tissues to medical device diagnostic systems that leverage on their ease-of-use as their key feature for market success.

She works as Expert Evaluator for the European Commission and in 2019 she covered a similar role for the screening of innovative projects to be funded by Enterprise Ireland, the Irish Government agency responsible for supporting Irish businesses.

Graduated with honours in Industrial Biotechnology at the University of Turin in 2002, Chiara is a qualified Biologist at the University of Pavia. She speaks and writes in fluent English and is a Certified Project Manager (title issued by the Project Management Institute, Pennsylvania, USA). She also holds a Six-Sigma Green Belt certification. She lives in Turin (Italy), with Francesco, Margherita, Roberto, Mia and Aria. In her free time (not much!) she practices yoga and swimming.
